One handed ferro rod fire with Folder !

Great thread Pit, last week I was out batoning fatwood with an SAK for a photo project I'm working on, haven't gotten to the one handed fire with a folder part of it yet.

Now you know why I practice such things using RATs and TOPS, save the wood handles till it's real!
 
That was a very useful thread Pitdog. Thanks for sharing. Maybe I will try that one with a fixed blade .

As others have said, great post. I also have that knife, have had it for several years now. It is my work knife, and due to my job, it is nice to know it is up to the task should I ever need it.
