One handed fire starting with possibly the forums smallest knife !

Kudos to ya Pit! I'm thinking you should get a special BF award for being the most stubborn bull headed loon who goes out in sub zero temps to try building a one hand fire! LOL! it was 31 and windy here and I thought I was nuts for wanting to hunt!

Thanks buddy although the pics below were from a day when I was at my coldest by far ! I'd also managed to lose my gloves and figured it would be a great test to try and get a fire going in such conditions. It was snowing quite heavily and being on the beach there was a super strong cold wind blowing that really dropped the temperature. I started with a ferro rod then went to matches but my dexterity was now too bad. I then tried the Bic but the wind was too great. I eventually managed to get one going with those thick match type things that you get your BBQ going with ! I musta had rocks in my head that day !!!!!!
