I'm finishing up a bunch for Derrick's new store guys so today's 'batch' consists of only one available Bushfinger. Next's weeks batch will be a big one to make up to y'all for it. I have also made myself a Bushfinger this week. I've been missing having one badly since I gave Dylan mine. It was SWEET too. The good part is that he really uses it! I like that. Mine is 1/8" thick with a full height grind and white linen over natural canvas micarta scales. I'm excited.

The available Bushfinger for today is handled in Antique natural canvas over nat can with a white pinstripe. 5/32" thick 3D Spalted 01 with a convex sabergrind. $250 shipped without sheath, $290 shipped for a Heber sheath to be included, OR, $300 with a RLo.

We have machete's in stock right now. I even have two painted ones left.

Thank you!!!!!!!

Extended tang or flush on this one?

Hi W.T.,

Your question is really for Andy to answer, but in the mean time, my guess is that it is flush. The only extended tang knives Andy has offered lately that I am aware of is the curly tail and it really doesn't look like this knife has that configuration.

These knives do not last long so if you want it, my advice is to take while you can. No worries or pressure as I'm just trying to help.

Sincerely,
Mark

Another fabulous looking knife Andy. That Bushfinger blade size/shape has to be among the best available for a general purpose outdoors knife IMO. Whoever snags this handsome blade I hope you enjoy it: this knife is just begging to be be used!!!

Also excited to see what shows up in the new batch for KSF and next week's Fiddleback Friday! I will be tuned in or sure.

BTW Andy kudos on cranking out a Bushfinger for yourself this week: everyone should own at least one blade in this pattern and you're no exception! Haha :p

Lovely! I am actually waiting for an Arete but as Andy said it is not likely soon on Fiddleback-Fridays. I very much like that Bushfinger design and if this was NatCan with BlackCan bolsters I'd by right now. Ha, I can wait (barely) ...

Thanks for the kind words guys.

The tang is flush on this one.

I have two Arete's coming up now! Just for you. Give me a call before monday if you want to discuss what I'm putting on it. I couldn't remember if you wanted scandi or convex, so there are both.

Great looking knife! If I didn't grab that Padre last week, I would all over this one. I really love the look of that antique micarta.

Andy, I sent you a PM!

Could you post pics of the sheath options, or examples of those types of sheaths? I haven't frequented this forum enough to be acquainted with them I'm afraid :D

I don't have the sheaths here with me today. I'll try to get pics for you by tomorrow.

Awesome looking knife, just perfect in every way!

I especially like that micarta, classy material.

Nice knife, clean grind...you've been practicing while I've been gone Andy!

Perfect size and great looking knife!

Did this ever sell?

I've been debating whether or not I should grab it... I think I'd be better off with something in the 1/8" region, do Bushfingers come in this thickness? It's hard to know what I need... I only have small folders and huge knives xD I need reference points!

No actually. It is still available.

Man! Nasty! Great to see you. I love seeing the HI guys over here.

If you guys didn't know, I got my start making knives over in the HI section doing the file knife projects led by Sylvrfalcn.

I've had both. It really depends on how you use a knife. If you are a cutter, a carver, a slicer, and a careful batonner, then the 1/8" thickness is enough. If you are going to wail on it during batonning, or be rough with the knife, then 5/32 would be better. Both cut well. I'm currently carrying a 1/8" bushfinger.
