One Knife Batch!

I've had both. It really depends on how you use a knife. If you are a cutter, a carver, a slicer, and a careful batonner, then the 1/8" thickness is enough. If you are going to wail on it during batonning, or be rough with the knife, then 5/32 would be better. Both cut well. I'm currently carrying a 1/8" bushfinger.

The Fällknivens I've handled I've found way too beefy, I believe the S1/A1 are in the 5-6mm region.
 
I'm still around in a few places Andy...and have watched you grow. I should have bought some stuff when I could afford it.

FWIW, I'd grab this beauty if I could...there is almost no difference in real life for the extra 1/32 of an inch.

It's the skill of the user, the geometry of the blade and the skill of the maker that matters.
