Process wood? Who does this with a knife? Jeez. I could live my life comfortably with a Vic Compact. It wouldn't be my choice for field dressing deer, but it would do fine other than the cleanup.

I think these would be sensible knives to suggest if your question had been "I don't really need a knife but I like to pretend I'm a ninja, so I want an expensive folder. What should I buy?"

When you open a toolbox and look inside, there are a whole mess of tools inside, right? Not just one hammer, or one file, or just one screwdriver, right? The tool has to be right for the task at hand.

I suppose in a pinch, you might be able to manage with just a baton-able machete and a Smatchet.

BK2- Kershaw Blur-CRKT My Teigh- and the RAT 1---I'd pick the RAT 1 for EDC and BK2 if it's ZOMBIE EDC.

Do they also work for surprise ninja attacks or should I add a katana? I ask because they're a real nuisance where I live.

I haven't been attacked by ninjas or samurai squirrels either, so you should be fine with some of these.
