Sadly the Froe is not among the buck knives i own, but I have given it some handling and using time on the French Pyrinees together with the Buck Hood Thug (which I didn't like a bit)

I don't own a Buck Froe but, I think that is what I want instead of a small machete. You have handled one and I have not. Do you think it is worth the money?

Spyderco: Endura 4 (Superblue)
Kershaw: Entropy
ZT: 0456

Boker: Urban Trapper (Cocobolo)
Kizer: Gemini ('natch)
Protech: Magic BR-1 (Copper)

I found Benchmade to be a close squeeze between 940-1, 810-1401 and the Ritter but in the end I had to go with my fav slicer. There were obvious other close calls with companies like S!K, CPK, Busse and BRKT.

Yeah I hear ya, as OP there's often a tricky dance of not 'Cheerleading' (a taboo action so I'm told) when posting new thread ideas. I'm a noob and I marvel at some guys collections around here...I believe I read JustinFournier stating he had north of 40 CPK, which destroys my entire assortment of blades with just one maker alone. Peterbright has 76+ CRK, so my entire assortment of blades once again pales in comparison to what this guy has from a single maker. No doubt there are hundreds if not thousands of others with similar blade caches out there.

I'm glad you enjoyed my list, I enjoyed making it at first haha.
