One Knife?

I think - if I could have one - it would simply be a Kephart.

I like your design JK - and I own a ML Kephart. It is not the prettiest girl at the dance - but it does eveything I need it to.

If I lived back in Michigan - I would likely have a Scandi Bushcrafter of some type.

my 25 year old Case XX Blade Exchanger with its four blades: fillet, drop point, clip and saw. Or is that cheating?
 
Some context for my choice: This would be the one knife I'd want on me if I was living off the land in the mountains of CO.

I'm sure you guys can help translate this to a similar JK model, but of the knives I have right now, if I had to have only one it would probably be my Fiddleback Forge Bushfinger in 3/16" Convex. Beefy enough to beat the crap out of it for processing wood, enough belly for processing food, and super comfortable in hand due to it oversized handles.
 
I'm kinda surprised not to see the Knatchet in this list.

I really love my Knatchet, but it is a little unwieldy for what I typically do with a knife, it can do most everything except slicing. I would not use it for kitchen duty unless there were no better choices, and a GW is a better choice. I do have to get my Knatchet out and get it dirty doing some yard work.

That is a Wasteland Leatherworks sheath with Noah Legel's Apocalyptic treatment.

He is a talented leatherworker, and I hope someday he gets back to making us some of his fine leather products.

i dont know if its the same maker but i own a sheath from WASTELAND ODDITIES on etsy thats really nice. so is the knife for that matter
