another 1 knife thread:jerkit:

I always carry minimum of 2 or 3 when out in the wild....

so for me it would be my Bark River Canadian Camp Knife paired up w/ my BRKT Highland or BRKT Mini Northstar:cool:

Come'on be a sport and play along....pick one.

Cold steel Bolo Machete. I have one that I use for everything. Cutting weeds clearing brush, splitting firewood. Killing chickens to butcher,Cutting meat, You name it it will do it and i have yet to have to sharpen it in a couple years.

Definitely my ZT301, I love that knife. I would choose my CS Kukri but its size can sometimes be limiting. I usually have both of those when I go outdoors.

The one i carry with me.... Strider SNG

If ya give me advance notice, i wouldnt mind my Busse Badger Attack

Now if I were on an island, it wouldn't be deserted now would it? : )

Okay, okay. Hmmmm. One knife. How about a LARGE Sebenza? No, too large. Maybe a regular Sebenza. Nah, I may need something big, come to think of it. Big enough to chop, but small enough to cut or carve wood. I know, how about one of those survival knives with a compass in the top and some fishing line and matches in the handle? Nah, too crappy. The Kershaw Outcast is nice. Doesn't have a point on it, though.

Oh, there's the Rambo III knife. If I had that and lost it, I wouldn't feel too bad.

Well, I think I'll settle for a good Ka-Bar fighting knife like they give the Marines. I've got my father's knife from WWII and it seems like it would be well suited for an island. Yes, that's the one.

My father carved all the places he went into the
sheath. Neat, eh?

A chainsaw, loads of gas, a bottle of rum and a hot chick. Yeah! It would be like the Blue Lagoon and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre all rolled into one!

A jungle island, you say?

My 16 inch made-in-Mexico machete (has cow bone handle slabs:cool:) in it's leather sash sheath. Don't ask me what company made it, it could have even been custom made for all I know. It can take some abuse though. This I know from first hand experience.:D This being a jungle island, I'd most likely need a machete just to get around. Nothing says I couldn't use it for other tasks, either. It would just be a bit akward compared to a smaller knife.
