One lucky dawg and Monday is the big day. Rather long...

Thanks Gang!!!!

Are you kidding?! They're going to open the curtains and sell tickets for folks to watch you dance around in your hospital gown (which never seems to meet in the rear). :D :D :D

No, they're not. ;) In addition to the great menu, which I already have filled out for three days, the hospital furnishes really great Terry Cloth bathrobes.  :D Told you it was a fancy place. If the fancy bathrobes are full length instead of the ones that only come to the knees mine might make it home with me.<VBESEG> The first day after surgery all of the back surgery patients are required to walk 150 feet, twice! In addition to that they want you setting up in a chair with your brace on at least three times for thirty minutes a shot. The physical therapists over there take their job very serious and don't let folks lay around and get lazy. In addition to the walking and setting they come in and make sure you do your given exercises twice a day!
Then they assign you to an outpatient therapy program after you're released supposedly to get everyone walking in an upright position. If they can do that for me I will be forever grateful!

All kidding aside, enough smoke for a three alarm fire will ascend on the 25th...........do you prefer cedar, sandalwood, patchouli or sage??? God bless....................jn

Thanks Mac, and I prefer Cedar or Sage or both if I have a choice as that's what we use here in the house.:D

Yvsa that hospital sounds a lot like the one where my wife had her back surgery last november.

Except for the pain and not being able to move around much, she liked it there.

Ok,now...remember the little problems you had last time in hospital?

The slit in the hospital gown goes in BACK and ties behind the neck, not in front.

We don't need any more infamy than you already carry with you. :D :D :D

Yvsa, don't forget that you can ask for pants to go with that little top they give you. Prayers up all weekend for you. Good luck and God bless.

I've called and left messages...hopefully Barbie will get them and give me a call soon.

Smoke and Song continue.

Gee - days when getting a tooth extracted is good news. ;)

Hope everything is going well. Sending smoke.

Barbie called...said Yvsa came through surgery well and was in recovery. The doc told her that he must have been in a great deal of pain since things were worse off than they thought.

You'll get more info as I get it...I'm going to send more Smoke and Song until he's back.

I know he appreciates your efforts too...

My pleasure. I just got off the phone with Barbie...Yvsa is doing fine. He is up and about and hungry...having supper now. As I hear more, I'll post it for you all.

Smoke & Song continue.

Yours is appreciated...
