Lots of good help in the archives on working with CF, one thing I can't seem to find- what makes a good finish- wax? Nothing?
I've got it to a nice 600, but it seems a little....dry, or porous maybe.
The bike people always paint it :) I don't think I want to try that on a hand sanded scale!
Thanks for any ideas.
 
Just polish it and then wax it. 600 grit is not a very shiny finish.

They're a set of working knives, so I don't want them slippery- wax should be perfect.
 
I just use little bit of WD40. Spray it on, rub it in, wipe off the excess and you're good to go.
