One more tool rest solution for KMG and similar grinders

Here is a tool rest made by Don Dietz of Washington. I have replaced the cap screws with 4 arm knobs and an adjustable handle. I made an aluminum spacer for one knob and a 1/2 inch spacer to lower the whole arm. The arm moves in 3 axis and tilts right and left from horizontal. You need to use a small magnetic level to keep every thing straight when you adjust it and because the pivot points are behind the wheel it is limited on how far back it will tilt but I have another rest for that. The cool thing is being able to tilt right and left to make a grind narrow at the ricasso but tall at the point of a blade. I will try it out very soon on a new design.
