One more walking stick thread

Heres the walking stick that rides in the truck. Its a thin piece of Osage, no bigger than my thumb. Its spiringy and strong. I made tines on one end . The tines make this stick extremely useful. Heres what the tines accomplish.

: The stick does not sink into soft soil.
: It grips the earth, logs, rocks... better.
: Makes rolling logs, rocks... easier.
: Pushes vines out of the way.
: Pushes barbed wire out of the way. Brace the other end into the ground and lift ,to widen the gap between wires. If nothing else, this makes the forked stick worthwhile.
: Hang items on it. Stick other end into ground.
: pin snakes to the ground.

I know its silly to carryon about a stick, but it is handy. Like a multitool.

I like the thread. I have had a ton of fun in camps cutting spears and walking sticks. great pic.:thumbup:
