One of My Favorite Patterns

Borrowing a little from the profile of a belt knife, I doodled around with pencil and paper and came up with this.

Feels good in hand, just so versatile for having around camp.

Thinking of making more of this, even though it is the only one I have made. I have a pattern, so I can repeat it. Just wish I had a nice 2X72 grinder.

Great looking knife and a Bos heat treat to boot - cant go wrong with that.

As you mention, it immediately struck me, how convenient it might be for general camp duties as well.

I like it. I tend to like camp knives that follow a lot of the same rules as chefs knives. Upswept, lots of belly, cutting edge more proud than index knuckle in hand, extra inch or two of handle... Nicely done.
