I'm not calling you a liar but that ivory sure doesn't look like it was harvested 40 years ago. Ivory yellows with age and that stuff looks pretty white to me. How certain are you that it's pre-ban? I'm not trying to be a jerk about this but killing elephants for their ivory still goes on here in Africa every day and the stuff must be going somewhere. Just saying... I hope your conscience is clear.

I saw your knife and my girl turned to me and asked "do you know who that is?" I said yes and that you are around the forums ,nice exposure for you I hope you get lots of sales from it.
About the ivory ,yellowing has to do with exposure to air ,if they just cut it from a tusk the inside is a fresh and new.
 
I saw it last night, I thought how dare he stab that Damascus blade into the table like that. Rich must be into knives too, because he sweetened the deal with three customs so far, and he always has a knife clipped in his pocket.
