Nova died on the way back from Tom's place last night...left it on the side of the road...came back to get it...towed by the County PD!! :grumpy:

Finally got it back this afternoon....


Headed out to dog obedience class this PM....TRUCK DIED on the side of the road.

But, having car trouble where it doesn't strand you in hazardous conditions is easy enough to deal with. Been below freezing here in Bay Area for almost a week. Extremely rare in coastal california.

Happened to me yesterday. I drive an old '86 Ford F150 pickup. Was coasting to a stop, engine began to turn over slower and slooowwwer. Then quit. Luckily, the guy who takes care of our pool drove by a couple of minutes later and helped me push it over to the side. Tried cranking it over a couple of times. Then let it sit for 20 minutes. Started that time. Was fine today.
