Hello dear brothers,
With God's good will today i was able to finish this exclusive puukko - 'Omega No2'
It is the second from the 'Omega' series and it is indeed a luxurious piece. I worked a lot on it but hopefully you will enjoy the end result
The blade is made out using 1095 high carbon steel and wears a nice wild hamon that generously contributes to the general exclusive look.
The handle is a complex puzzle of only premium materials, fitted with care. We have two pieces of 'deep water' stabilized wood burls for the bolster and pommel that were nicely shaped and carefully buffed to a smooth, deep and shiny finish. Next there are two hand carved 'rings' of 10000 YO exclusive Siberian wooly mammoth ivory as a nice contrasting link to the main body. The main body is made out using 2 luxurious pieces of 7000 YO Siberian wooly mammoth stabilized and dyed molar that are bonded together with a special shaped stainless Swedish dense twist Damasteel spacer that is a jewel in itself.
Overall the knife is app 7.5" with an app 3.55" blade.
The price for this knife is 270 usd (please add 35 usd for a nice vegetable tanned thick ox leather sheath made by my lovely wife - on request).
