Hello dear brothers,
With God's good will today ia was able to finish this little jewel i had on my desk for some time
As the title says it is a one off luxury pocket carver, a small but very capable knife for it's dimensions. It is very comfortable in hand and looks very impressive due to the sophisticated steel used in it's blade.
Now, the steel is a San Mai that uses stainless steel Damascus on the sides and a core of VG10. It has an eye catching pattern and a classic design. The handle is made out using a unique 'deep sea' piece of stab/dyed burl wood that was buffed to a high gloss, a shiny nickel silver spacer and a 6000 years old piece of stabilized Siberian wooly mammoth ivory for the bolster.
Overall the knife measures app 6.1" with an app 2.3" blade.
The price for this one is 190 usd (please add 35 usd for a nice vegetable tanned thick ox leather sheath made by my lovely wife - on request).
