I am completely new to CRK knives, But I saw 3 Sebenza's and a Kathathu at a knife shop while on a recent vacation and I'm sold, they were great. I am seriously thinking about making my next fixed blade purchase a MkVI or a Project II. Can anyone tell me the blade thickness on these?
Also, How well do they hold up while being used roughly. I like to hike/backpack a lot and I prefer to carry only a minimal amount of knives with me due to weight, that usually means 2 folders and one fixed blade. Would one of the knives I mentioned work well for that? It would have to do all the camp chores and hold an edge very well, as I tend not to sharpen while I'm out on a trip. Any input/experience would be welcome.
Thanks in advance,
Tique

Tique..
The CR Fixed Blades are built to work..
You will not find a better user period..

I carry and use the Project 1 or Shadow IV daily, with my Sebenza of course..

Read this Review of the CR Project 1..

I will let the Forumites tell you in their words how hard working our fixed blade knives are - I can tell you that they will stand up to virtually anything you give them but you would expect that from me - comments from users generally carry the most weight

! If you work your way through some of the older posts, you will find some interesting threads discussing the fixed blades.

For specifics on the dimensions of the different models, you can go the faqs page on our website at http://www.chrisreeve.com/faq.html and for general information, our site is www.chrisreeve.com
