• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Well lets see... if you want scary there is System of a Down, but, my favorites are mostly The Offspring, Black Flag, Misfits, and other assorted punk rock, but when it comes to rap, I find it hard to justify as music, but thats for another rant.

One of my favorite musicians is Bruce Cockburn--who, according to the Cockburn Web Page FAQ in front of me, is a KNIFE COLLECTOR! Yeah! (see, James, obligatory knife content).

other than that--pre-1980s YES and Genesis, Floyd.

Bach, Vivaldi, Grieg, Sibelius.

I go from Mozart to Jimmy Buffet, with a little Alan Parsons Project thrown in for good measure.....just me I guess

Music ... Classical and country from lots of different countries. Balkan bagpipes. Bulgarian voices. Mongolian and Tuvan khoomei singing.

And this is very much a Community sort of thread.
