I been looking for deals on canoes for a couple weeks now, since I convinced a friend to do "La Mauricie" with me, a nice 5 day trip.

Well.. I'm quite happy with my purchase, my first canoe so I got a used one. for the 250$ I think it was worth it.. just minor scratches and is in really close proximity.

I think it will be perfect for extended trips where weight is a problem :):thumbup:

The keel should give you a little better tracking on lakes where a cross wind could be a problem. Keep us posted on your adventures.

It's nice when you get a deal and someone puts the first scratch in it for you. You feel like you can really use it after that. Enjoy it!
 
Nice purchase. I've been thinking about getting rid of my two kayaks and getting a canoe instead.
