Onihonto.com - Great Dealer

I thought I would share a great experience I just had with a dealer I just used for the first time. I have an admitted Microtech addiction. Trying to get my last fix, I had been on the hunt for a single edged stonewashed Ultratech with the new tri grip. This new grip style is becoming more readily available but the variant I was looking for had been elusive until I came across a dealer in Florida called Onihonto.com. They listed the knife I had been looking for as not only in stock, but at a price decently less than anywhere I had seen. Seemed a little too good to be true, so I did a quick search and only found 1 review. It was a bit dated but positive. I decided to give it a shot and gave them a call. It was a bit off hours if I recall but I was going to leave a message to verify the stock before I went through with the transaction online, so I was surprised when they answered and it turned out to be the owner Jon. I was glad I called, as not only did they have what I was looking for, but it seems that Jon might have a bit of an addiction as well lol. We spent well over an hour bs'ing knives and his first passion Japanese swords. Not only was he willing to spend that kind of time with me, but it was after I was unable to complete the transaction as paypal being paypal had yet again tied up my funds for several days. Jon offered to hold the knife for me and rushed it out to me when I called him back. The knife was perfect when it arrived. Jon also offered to and is actively trying to track down the next knife on my list. I am glad I gave them a shot and couldn't be happier with the transaction. Two thumbs up!
