Minor spam from an unpaid Dealer removed.
So far, the site owner has been pretty up front, honest and he seems to be on the level. We shall see though what happens. Once I complete a transaction with the dealer, I will make sure to post up a thorough review of my experience, the product, shipping times, etc. I always love testing things out.

Hey All,
So I thought I would update you all on my recent purchase from Onihonto.com. I will leave a short thorough review starting with the initial contact through receipt of the knife.
I had been looking for quite some time for a Microtech Combat Troodon with a Black D/E blade w/ one side full serrations and a blue handle for some time. Luckily I stumbled across the website, Onihonto.com that appeared to have the item in stock. Upon submitting an order/contact form to the website I was promptly contacted the next business day by the site owner following up to my request. From that point, the site owner was informative, friendly, and honest throughout the entire transaction. He offered to receive payment through any manner that I felt comfortable with, Paypal, MO, etc. I chose paypal, sending him money that evening and completing the transaction on my end.
The site owner sent the item through UPS, allowing me to track the package throughout the entire shipping process. Throughout the entire process the site owner, kept in contact before, during, and after he shipped the item out. One point of review, I would not ship through UPS and have him ship it through an alternative carrier. It took a week or so to get here as the carrier was pretty slow. Granted, this is my own impatience in receiving it. Anyhow, I received the item yesterday, opened it and the item was still in the case sealed in the Microtechs plastic bag it comes in. The knife itself is perfect in every way shape and form, absolutely brand new. I have to say that I am incredibly happy with the knife.
I would recommend the site to anyone who wanted to purchase through this website. In fact, I ended up spending less (including shipping) than I would have buying from any other retailer had they had what I wanted.

This is my first review or feedback. But I felt like it should be posted. I had been looking for an all black non serrated microtech underwater navy scarab. I couldn't find one in stock to save my life. The secondary market had one with an inflated price. So I run across www.onihonto.com and see he's got a huge selection of high end microtechs and most of them are in stock. I was thinking I've never heard of this place and this is too good to be true. So I called him up, it was like 11pm last Friday night and he answers the phone. Tells me he has two in stock. Asks which one I would like based on serial number etc . Super knowledgeable sounding guy so I decide to go for it and pay with his preferred online payment method. He emailed me to confirm payment and says it'll ship ASAP. I get another email about tracking and sit here anxiously waiting for it. Door bell rings today (Wednesday) and it's a box from Onihonto and the knife is exactly as described and I'm 100% satisfied. This guy will get all of my microtech business from now on and he's got some other blades as well besides micro that are nice. I give him a 10/10 and for future reference Onihonto IS a microtech autohorized dealer according to microtechs website.

and a wait time..Never have I had that issue with numerous
transactions. As soon as I bought something thing and looked at item
again it was marked "SOLD" unless they had more than 1
in stock.

Just wanted to add that I just had a very positive experience with Jon and Onihonto.com. I bought a MCK Combat Troodon off his site (after reading these reviews), and everything went perfect. In fact the only hitch was PayPal, but I have had that issue with them when making some larger purchases or buying from another country. The knife I bought was several hundred dollars cheaper than the only other couple of places that still had it. Jon communicated quickly and consistently via email and sent the knife lickety split once PayPal was sorted out. Great experience, and the price was amazing.
