Whats a good online source for Benchmade ?

I value a fair price and good service. I'm not going to chase a penny to find a company that treats folks like dirt

Thanks

Deal-spotting: we prefer you recommend paid Bladeforums dealers. BladeHQ is a paid Dealer, and a regular participant here, under the name VidKnight.

Who's dealspotting? I didn't post links or anything. The op asked for opinions and I gave a solid answer. Lighten up esav.

Esav, the OP asked a question and I ansewred with an opion. I DID not post a link and just gave an answer, nothing more. Why are you riding me brother? I have no bone to chew with you................

Esav knows the rules better than you do.

In this case(and all the others), he's right.

Deal spotting is not limited to posting links. It's recommending non paying dealers that violates that rule. I think you should be happy it's just a heads-up instead of an infraction

Take it easy

I've seen a lot of posts that made simple reference to a place to purchase a knife, without posting a link and nothing was said before. Is this something that has been against the rules and wasn't being enforced until recently? I just want to know, so I will be sure to not mention dealers that don't advertise here. I really don't know every single one that does and looking through the dealer section, I don't see quite a few of the commonly mentioned places to obtain cutlery, here on BladeForums. I could list a few that I've seen in the past commonly posted, that I never see advertising here, but that would be against the rules it seems.:D Where can you find a listing of all the paying dealers, so we don't post the ones that aren't advertisers?
(when a poster asks where to buy a hard to find knife, I often will answer eBay has some listed, is this against the rules? and what about that huge knife store in Tennessee, I've seen entire threads about that place in General and nothing was said, I am pretty sure they don't advertise here, plus they are mentioned very commonly as a place to buy)

Just received my first order from Blade HQ today. Shipped super fast, packaged ok, great communication, price was about average from the research I did and the item was exactly as described.

Reputation based on feedback from users here obviously matters to you or you wouldn't be asking, therefore, it seems logical to shop from the dealers here. That way you also have another outlet for concerns.

If you can do a search (I can't remember if registered users can or not) run an advanced search in this forum for your desired e-tailer's name in "thread title only" and see what others had to say.

Maybe the archives too, I don't know how often they archive stuff, but it seems like they just did it on the new year.

Good luck!
