I am in the market for a new knife and wanted to see what everyone's thoughts were on who their favorite online knife retailer and knife is? I would love to hear from as many people as possible. The more the better. Thanks guys.

I use amazon whenever possible because I know the knife will be at my doorstep within 48 hours (except for sundays :p ) but +1 for Blade HQ

I buy from Amazon because I have prime and sometimes they are lower price than other places. However, Blade HQ also offers free shipping and their prices are competitive so I buy some from them as well. Have not used kershawguy yet.

More often than not it comes down to shipping cost for me, if Blade HQ ships for free and are close to Amazon prices I go with them.

Gpknives.com
They are a real brick and motor store. Family owned and the family works there. Great people and great selection. I am proud to them friends of mine.

Knife Works is a great place to buy knives. Awesome prices and huge selection....and of course KershawGuy, BladeHQ, GPKnives, Blue Line Gear..

Sooner State Knives
Cutlery Shoppe
Ruff,s Saddle Shop & Knife Sales
Baryonyx Knife Co.
Walmart.com free ship to store

Outfitter country (via amazon) will ship internationally and I've had no problems with the 3 purchases I've made through them.

All positive experiences with, in no particular order: KnifeCenter, KnifeWorks, The Knife Connection, Sooner State Knives, KnivesShipFree, BladeHQ, CollectorKnives
There's probably more, that's all I can think of at the moment
But all mentioned have outstanding customer service, and get your knives out ASAP

I like to but if it ends up being $8 on the price and $6 on shipping for an $80 knife then it doesn't make sense. I'm not giving a retailer almost 20% more just because I want to support a knife retailer. That said, if you spend more than $100 at bladehq you get free shipping and most of the time my orders are over $100 so I do try to use them more than Amazon even if I pay a few extra bucks.

You choice, but for me I'd rather support people that run small businesses that are supporting the knife community in general. I don't order 1 knife usually, I try and make it a combined order. But, that is my .02¢
