Have any of you used the KnifeStore.com site for buying knives online? If so how well do you rate them? I am thinking of buying a knife from them but fill funny about it! Any info would be great!

My 1st post!! :) been surfing awhile here, great information! I just bought two knives from a online dealer. He was great to deal with. Called me to let me know one of the knives I had ordered was on back order. Also had some of the best prices I found during my extensive search for a vendor.

No problem! I did my homework, they've got some great prices. Guy called me the day after I placed my order online to let me know about the backorder. I was on the edge of getting a different knife in lieu of the BO'ed one anyways. I told him to send me the other. That was yesterday and I got a email tonight that my knives were shipped. His shipping offers were nice also.
I'm not affiliated in anyway BTW, just appreciate good customer service :)

I am currently bidding on about 30 knives on eBay, and I am only winning one of them, for now. I just can't see spending MSRP on a knife, and the auctions I am bidding on have surpassed MSRP! I have enjoyed the service on my purchases on this board, and I think that we should post our wants here first. Lots of great deals to be had. Other than here, I would have to say Flames n Knives, I think his site is www.flamesnknives.com, not super cheap prices, but good prices nonetheless. www.1sks.com is also pretty good. Even though a lot of people seem to hate them, Smokey Mtn Knife Works is good too.

Just be aware of one thing. If something is wrong with your knife, NONE of these places will accept it in return. You will have to send it to the factory for warranty repair. So it might be beneficial to pay a little extra to go to an actual store and pick the one you want. I just bought a Benchmade from 1SKS and had to send it in for warranty repair and wait five weeks. If I had it to do over again, I would have bought it in a store and paid the extra $. This has only happened to me twice, but it is something to think about.

You've ordered from all the listed places and none of them will do returns? I don't know about most of them but New Graham will make it right if they mess up or if say the knife is majorly screwed up. I think you got 3 days to inspect it before they won't accept returns anymore. Anyways, did the knife come to you defective or did something happen while using it? I think if you bust it then you live with it, but if it comes to you busted then exchange it.

Unless things have changed a lot recently that is not true. Roger at KnifeWorks took care of everything the one time I got a knife with a factory defect through them. Their service has never been anything but exceptional.

I would be very surprised if it were true of several of the other dealers that have been mentioned, although I can't speak from personal experience. Can you?
