Hi, currently I am stuck in Asia because of covid and my work, it is very hard to find knife retailers in the country that I am in, and big knife stores like Bladehq and Bladeops doesn't deliver to my country, Knife Center ships to my country but it comes with a ridiculous shipping price. Recently I order a Microtech from KnifeCenter and the shipping cost was as much as half the cost of the knife itself. Some knife in Knifecenter.com can't even be sent to my country, saying this knife can't be imported to the country I currently am. So I am trying to find a better way and maybe cheaper way of buying knives and getting them delivered to the country I am in. Like maybe give me a suggestion of good websites that do international shipping, and everything else I can figure out myself (shipping cost).
Thank you in advance.

Hi Gene

Which country are you in? Hard to get in some asian countries

A bigger issue you may face is import duty if you ship. I am currently in Thailand and if you ship through most normal shippers, you may get a 200% import tax added to you bill

I'm in Thailand too, but I don't really mind the import tax, because buy knives from the U.S. and importing them in the tax part is inevitable. Where do you usually buy yours. I know a few great shops but like because of how covid is getting worse in Thailand I prefer not to go out that why currently I try to buy the product from online shop only.

Australian here, dlt trading is my preference. I usually buy two knives per purchase as the postage cost remains the same, around $30 usd. Knifecenter postage costs are the same but dlt arrives in half the time. They also have outstanding customer service. Check them out! Enjoy :)

gemani here. whitemountainknives has great shipping international.

in general, there was a hike in int. shipping prices for usps, etc,

CFF thailand in Bangkok, I don't think I can post a link here. Has a good selection for South East Asia (some very interesting stuff like Olamic) and has been very helpful when I have needed something unusual

Also, no worries about getting slapped with that duty that has made a mid priced knife a custom price to me before 555

Where in Thailand are you?

I just checked out the website and it seems very interesting, so the shop takes orders by email?

I just checked out the website and it has some nice knives in stock, I might plan on getting a Medford. I order one already but I'm not usually the type of guy to be able to bear that long for knives I order. Because usually, I would love to get it asap even though the fact that it is custom made for you and done fresh is very cool but I still can't bear to wait 3-6 months for one.

Hope we can travel to BK soon, would like to go eyeball their range

DLT Trading has been good to me but selection is a bit limited sometimes.

Recently,I was able to one of their exclusives, the DLC Cold Steel 4MAX Scout. :)
