Online Shopping - BestKnives ?

Hey guys... new here looking to purchase a couple new ones :)

I`ve checked the dealer/for sale forums here and can't find anyone that's offering both knives I`m after, the CRK Shadow IV and BM 140 Nimravus M2. I`ve found both on http://store.yahoo.com/bestknives/ben14nimm2.html (BestKnives) but am unsure if they know what they are selling as the BM 140 Nimravus M2 on their site doesn't specify if it's the M2 steel or the 154CM and the CRK Shadow IV shows that's what they are offering but the MSRP and sale price are $205 which is the MSRP/Sale price of the CRK Shadow III so I`m not sure which one I will get. Has anyone dealt with BestKnives? If no one has any reccomendations I will call BestKknives tomorow to find out what's up. I can find the BM all over (and even cheaper) but finding both from one place wasn't easy - and if I can't find someone who knows about the knives they sell at a reasonable price I will just order them from seperate locations.

I bougt several knives from them. They are one of the best really.

Once I got Buck 880 with serration instead of plain - it was Buck fault - it was marked as plain on the box, but actually serrated. I call them and they manage to find some supplair in CA and negotiate this to send me right knife same day. So I got my plain Buck 880 next day. I was very impressed.

I have different experience with other supplair which send me wrong knife but I had to wait until they get it back and send right one to me only after this - which take more then a week from the time I made order.

I have also ordered from best knives and Mike is a great guy. He can get what you need, and in a timely fashion. Have always had great service. John
 
I also ordered from BestKnives and things went fine. They worked hard to get my "discontinued from the factory" knife out of a factory warehouse and to me.

I`m somewhat dissapointed wtih BestKnives.

I got my CRK Shadow IV however the benchmade I ordered with them was apparently NOT in stock so I did not receive it. However I did not receive a phone call letting me know it was out of stock and wouldn't ship. Most all other knife/camp sites I`ve ordered from called me to let me know an item was out of stock and asked what I`d like done (wait, different item, etc). I`m hoping BestKnives like other retailers takes care of their customers and ships the same method as ordered at their expense as the reason I ordered the benchmade from them was to save on shipping - 2day air from a single location and paying more for the actual knife! I`m sure they will take care of me as everyone here seems to like them.

BTW - LightFighter Tactical INC. also didn't send 3 items and no e-mail/call from them for those interested in places that ship and don't notify of non-stocked items.

Bestknives is a great place for international customers like me, prices are a little higher than elsewhere but shipping is very fast! always less than a week and no customs... :rolleyes:
