I'm still in need of some funds, so I'm adding a few knives to the Lannier I tried to move a couple of weeks ago. Read the descriptions carefully, and feel free to ask questions. I accept Paypal G&S or F&F if you want to save me some cost.

1. Northwoods Fayette Jack in Red Linen Micarta. Very good condition. I cut an apple with it, and then flitz off the light patina it made. Fit and Finish are excellent. Action is typical of what I've heard about these Northwoods--good opening snap, a bit lazier on the close. Blade is centered, and there is no play. This is a really good example. (was $165, then $155) now $old, OBO.

2. Roland Lannier "Just a Little Serious." Very good condition. This is a liner lock knife by French knife maker Roland Lannier (the card indicates that one of his two apprentices made this particular knife). The blade is made of 14C28N, a Sandvik steel boosted with nitrogen, which reduces its susceptibility to corrosion. It is cryogenically treated and hardened to 60 HRC. Mounting on beryllium bronze discs. Ceramic detention ball Handle material: Corian juniper gray with bamboo spacer. Silk bag (Pride of Scotland). Packing: Bamboo. Blade length 9.5cm. Handle length 11cm. Closed 11cm. Weight 65g. (was $225, then $215) now $210 Shipped, OBO.

3. Au Sabot Le Garonnais. Very good condition. This is a traditional French regional knife. Sandvick 12c27 stainless steel and ebony scales. The shield is an Occitan cross. One of the traditional features of this knife is that the blade rests on the back spring, so you don't want to snap this one shut. The fit and finish is good, but not perfect (some gaps in the liners, rough finishing inside the backspring). The blade is razor sharp--one of my sharpest--except perhaps at the tip where the blade rests on the spring. The blade is not centered, but there is no rub. The action is smooth (cam tang, no half stop). For the price, this knife is hard to beat. (was $50, then $45) now $OLD, OBO.

4. GEC 44 Gunstock in Goldenrod jigged bone. LNIT. As well made as any GEC I've ever held. Perfect fit and finish, excellent action, perfect centering. I've flushed and oiled it, so the action is better than when I received it. (was $90, then $85) now $OLD, OBO.

I also have an Enzo Birk 75 listed in the modern folders area. Make an offer!

Here's a great video on the Le Garonnais by Stefan Schmalhaus, even if you aren't interested in buying it.

If someone wants the whole package, they can have it for $450 (that's a $50 discount).

Last drop! Buy one at the prices above, or buy the whole lot for $400.

I can make an offer on the Fayette, here’s my email: meiggs 19 at Geemail
