Well for survival in a post-apocalyptic world, I'd say a SAK Soldier and a CGFBM. For canned food and zombies.

In today's world -hmmm...probably a large Sebenza and a SFNO. Might last a whole week or two before I get the itch again tho....

Minimalist mood: Buck 172 Mayo TNT and BRK&T Gameskeeper

Maximum level: BM Rukus and RAT RC-5

Either way, I'll have some empty drawers, etc...

Stainz

Folder: Rockstead or custom in 3v
Fixed: My Fehrman EJ or a Horton in 3v. Wouldn't mind a Tank Buster, then again I like me a Mr. Mojo/Mini or I could take a.... Doh!

I would say any Busse Battle Mistress and a Strider SmF should cover 100% of all needs. :)

Man, this is a tough one. Assuming they would never wear out, probably a ZDP/Ti Leek and a RAT-3 in D2.

Like "One Gun" threads, I always think about something outlandish, but realize that most of my guns and knives sit in the safe all day, all week, etc.

I'm tempted to say a custom LH Yuna and some crazy custom FB, but realistically I'd have them already if I wanted them bad enough. As much as I like my LH Millie, I'm going to keep my CF/ZDP Caly 3 and my Murray Carter Muteki necker. But I'm sure I could get by with my SAK Tinker and Mora.

my $0.02.

folder: Leatherman Wave.
fixed: something in the 5"-6" blade range. probably something like a Fallkniven S1.

Folder:
A custom Victorinox: a Farmer model's tools -with polished carbon fiber scales that can accommodate tweezers, a carbon fiber toothpick (just because), and a pen (like a Vic compact). The steel would be the same as a normal model -I like that stuff.

Fixed blade:
A custom Scandi: It would have a 3.5" to 4" blade of something fancy like 01 or 3V. It would have a full tang and two carbon fiber handle scales (with a simple ergonomic shape). The sheath would be traditional leather, but built extra thick with a carabiner dangler attachment and a hole at the bottom, just in case I wanted to strap it down. It would also have a keeper strap to engage a heavy duty removable stud on the pommel of the knife.

With those two knives I would be very content. Maybe one day...

I estimate the cost at under $1000. Seems doable... HMMMMM...
