Only one full size felling axe, what to get?

Arbiter - thanks for the opinion. If I end up with a Connecticut pattern axe I'll ask for a Jersey Classic for a gift from... Anyone really.

Double Ott - thanks, I will probably do more splitting than actual felling, and I'll probably look at it more than I use it for some reason I'm partial to the single bit look. I'm really to sure why. If I ever move somewhere I get to us an axe often, I'll probably revisit the single bit preference. Lots of people like them

Ain't full size feeling axes 5lbs and above?

In my younger days I cut quite a few trees with an axe. 3.5 - 4lbs is sweet spot for me for a felling axe. I have cut trees 18 -21 diameter with a 3.5 lb Michigan pattern double bit
