Pictures speak louder than words.
With thanks from the bottom of my heart to Glenn(Glennbad) for this amazing piece of work.
I contacted Glenn back in March about maybe fixing this old junker barlow which had lost its scales -the old plastic kind- long before it came to me in a job lot from a mate who does the rounds of swap meets.
I thought of sending some antler but I had this broken old bone handled steel that was my grandads down in the man cave .
Glenn said send it over and this is what he sent me back:D

Complete with domed pins, a top notch dye job on the bone which has highlighted the old gnarlyness superbly and new threaded bolsters.
It is truly a grandads barlow now.

Thank you Glenn.

Very nice! That's a creative and talented artist indeed who can create such a thing!

Well done Glenn :)

Thanks everyone. I have some other photos that I can add later.

I'll get some better pics on the morrow.I got home from a 2day car buying journey to another part of the state to find the package waiting. It was late in the arvo and a bit dull outside.
cheers for all the great comments.

That's why this place is so great! Outstanding people that is more like a brother hood than any other place on the 'net. Good for both of you!

Beautifully done Glenn. Meako, I love the fact that it was your grand fathers set that created it. Thanks for sharing.

Sweet!! Great work creating an heirloom, congrats.
