Well, I was far too slow at Knob Creek on Friday to get any of the regular models. :(
Didn't realize they would be gone in a flash but should have.
Those Hogs are unstoppable during a feeding frenzy ! :eek:
Looked at a few of the customs and really liked the Silent Knight Variant and FBM Variant with brass bolsters and mammoth tooth scales.
Thought about it for a long while before finally deciding to get the FMB Variant.
One guy picked it up a few time and I almost wished he would have bought it to save me some money. :)
Ronybear convinced me to buy it saying it was like money in the bank.
So I went ahead and got it for better or worse. ;)

That sucker is beyond massive and really impressive.

Was hoping to improve on Eric's pics but, it's a rainy day here again in Louisville and could not take them outside as planned so mine aren't any better. :(

Folks, this is one of those OMG :eek: knives, a fat FBM with thick brass bolsters, and very cool mammoth tooth slabs. A massive knife, when you pick it up, it just makes you smile.
 
How is the balance now with that insert? More agile? Compared to your other Busse how different does it feel swinging it?

Hey Sagittarius, it was sure nice to meet you at the Knob and I would say you have a pretty impressive start to your BUSSE Collection!!! That thing was a beast and will be the centerpiece to any collection, including mine! Wish we could have spent more time talking. Maybe we will see you at Blade in Atlanta. Where do you go from here?

You just scored a knife that sits squarely and prominently in Busse lore.
