Ont Steelhead Run ?

Hey Guys..

Anyone know when the Steelhead start running in Ont ??

Got my Spinning and Baitcasting Noodle rods Cleaned up,spooled up and Ready to go..

I know when they start on the local river here in SE Michigan. As for Ont. I can't help you.

My best advice is to srart chucking today. Fish every day 'til the run is over.

On the Eastern Shore of Lake Ontario the runs usually start around Oct 1st, although the fishing starts in earnest earlier because you can never be sure. I would imagine your runs should be similar.

I fish a few miles south but Steelhead generally start in late October and get better until the rain makes it impossible to fish.

Noodle rods make it big time fun!
