A Kukri In The Hand...

...is worth two machetes in the bush. The kukri is regarded by many to be the ultimate blade in the wild. With the chopping power of a hatchet, and the brush clearing ability of a machete, the 6420--by Ontario Knife Company--is an excellent wilderness tool.

Measuring in at 16 3/4" long, the 6420 is a medium size as far as machetes go but it has significantly more chopping power than even much longer machetes. The weight forward design of the blade concentrates the force directly behind the cutting point resulting in deep chops.

It has an 11 3/4" long 1095 Carbon Steel blade with a black powder finish and a flat grind. The black Kraton Handle has deep finger grooves and a wrist lanyard for extra safety. Comes with a black cordura belt sheath with leg ties.
