Does anyone own or use one of these?

I'm considering ordering one, but I want to know about the quality and durability of the knife. How does it compare to other knives of this sort. I have a Vic Farmer and Spartan. How does it compare to those? Obviously the tools are different, but I'm asking about its quality and usefulness.

Thoughts?

I have one of the Camillus ones from 2005, and it is a tank. It's a Vic Soldier, minus any refinement. Aluminum scales? Bah! Stainless. Tiny keyring or bail? Bah! Think more like a carabiner.

It's thick, heavy, and strong as an ox. Love mine.

That's good news!

I think I'm gonna order one of these and make it my Uniform EDC knife. It'll make me much less likely to break any foreign laws about large or locking knives while I'm abroad. Also, it's made in America!

US Army. I have one from 1982. Still going strong. Mine has drawn blood (not mine) from someone who thought a pocket knife like this can't be all that sharp (don't be "that guy")LOL . Excellent knife. Shop around, i have seen it for 2x as much as some places.

I also saw one that someone else had. Blade was butchered. I said i would fix it & sharpen it for him. He said it was from his dad, who passed a year ago & that he carried it all through his Vietnam tours, it was marked 1968. Big sentimental value for him. I fixed it as best i could & sharpened it up but good. First thing he did was cut his thumb, feeling how sharp it was (don't be "that guy" either !) LOL :D

I had a US Navy one....Tank...needs a marlinspike though for my work lol....

I have a U.S.M.C one and it's a tank. Bought one around 2005 at an army surplus store. I e.d.c it on occasions.

I have one from 1981 and like another poster stated, it's just like a good ole USA interpretation of a Swiss Army Knife. Unrefined, built like a tank, and shiny lol. I love mine. I've got it now in a display case with some other military memorabilia, but wouldn't hesitate to pull it back out and use it again if I didn't have like a zillion other knives (which I do).

I've wanted one for a while and finally found a lone example in a small town hardware store for not a bad price either.
