I started a post on this knife in Knife Reviews, but thought the subject might get more hits up here. I can only say what the title says........GRAND SLAM!:D

Oops, I got a little ahead of myself there. It is the Retribution 1 folder I'm speaking of. I wish I could post pictures but I'm unable too because I only have the basic membership.

You can post pictures, but bladeforums will not host them for you. There IS a difference!

I sure don't like it. Wavy blade and a handle to catch every corner of your pocket. I like smoooooooooth.

Actually, the handle is smooth. It doesn't catch on your pocket, but it is heavy. Of course, heavy in this case is also heavy duty. It has a very thick handle and thick liners.

Although it is a thick knife, it feels great in my hand. The blade also locks up very solid with the thick liners. I think that it is worth the price of admission.

However, I don't know if this knife would be very conducive to every day carry-in fact, if you had it in the pocket of your shorts without wearing a belt, you would probably drop your shorts!:D

Glad to hear that an old chum (Jerry) has hit a land slam! Happy for him.

I have just taken a look at Retribution 2. It is just the kind of blade I would like to have in my pocket.

This knife has peaked my interest, so did a search on evil bay and they can be had for cheap. I mean cheap too. Which leads me to wonder why actually. Look good though. keepem sharp

The Hossom Retributuion is a good solid knife. I think it would handle every chore thrown its way. Everything from slicing tomatos to warding off the demons that come at 3AM.

I don't own, nor have I handled one of these knives, but it looks good to me. Having owned a Buck 110 for about 40 years, the sheath is a natural way to carry a folder to me.

It is amazing what one can do when one puts their mind to it! Point being, I mounted a short foldover clip using the laynard hole. This allows for tip up carry and with the foldover clip you see no handle at all. It does not really affect the grip, for my hand at least, and it is very easy to draw. I always wear a belt, and most of my clothing needs are fulfilled by 5.11 shorts and long pants, which allow the Retribution 1 to ride in my pocket with no problem. In fact the Retribution attended church with me this morning, and went totally unnoticed. I really like this knife.

I am getting out of knives but there are a few that have peaked my interest, this being one of them. I just thought the steel was closer to 440c which isn't bad at all, but it seems everyone is saying VG10 which is a very good s.s. imho. So I am going to order one. I just may get the big behemouth and craft a leather belt sheath for it or have Lifter make one. keepem sharp
