I have 4 fixed blades that are just taking up space . A few have been used and abused, all have been taken care of , oiled and kept shaving sharp.
These are not safe queens, these have scratches, worn coating or no coating or only half of their coating.
These all come with kydex sheaths , specifically made for the individual knife , besides the catch and release Ontario .. it has a new stock spec ops combat master ( fitted for the blade).
The Ontario rd 6 : 6.5 inch blade .25 thick , 5160 steel. Previous owner did a good job contouring the micarta scales . I intended to strip the coating, haven’t had the time. I did even out the grind so it cuts in a straight line.. not pretty , it’s a work knife and it’s sharp. The knife will come in the original box with warranty card and a new spec ops sheath . The original snap broke on this sheath so I replaced it with one from another spec ops , works fine ( can be returned to spec ops for replacement or repair if needed , I’ll include the paperwork).
Benchmade 375 Adamas fixed blade w custom kydex sheath.
This knife has been beaten, used , sharpened, used more and more , sharpened and now here it is. The previous owner appears to have tried to sharpen this with a dremmel ( only on one side thankfully). I have reprofiled the edge , nice meaty convex grind. This knife is extremely sharp , very light and built like a tank .. it’s D2 tool steel and I’ve never had it chip out.. decent heat treatment. Custom kydex , plenty of scrapes , scratches and wear . Strider wrap handle.
Cold steel recon tanto , 2nd (90’s version in carbon V ! )
This is the knife that got me started .. it’s a factory second because of bubbles in the powder coating ( you can see in the pics ). This knife was made in the USA , probably by Camillus. The steel used is carbon v , legendary stuff in its day. This knife is ugly , patina’d , sharp and ready for whatever. The Kraton handle is not loose or tacky like some wind up. This knife has a minimalistic kydex sheath that was designed for “ in the waistband “ carry , I’ll include the pull the dot loop. There is a #2 on the pommel.
Lastly is a Blackjack tac ops 6 ( made by bark river ).
Previous owner reprofiled this blade with patience and steady progression through sandpaper. Semi mirror , razor sharp . Not the prettiest knife , it’s the most comfortable to use though. This blade is 1095 , 6 inch long and 3/16 at the spine . The coating was stripped and it’s been stropped. One handle scale is not flush with the Tang .. it’s a great user though. Kydex sheath as well.
These are all sharp and ready to use . These are all a little beat up . These all have tips intact.
