I took handles off my Ontario RAT-3 so I could clean it and do some other things like remove the expoxy and shine up the blade. When I tried to reassemble, I found out the screws and brass ferules wouldn't go back together. I applied some Klean-Strip to both to take off any thread locking compound and tried to reassemble again. I found that the brass parts had stripped threads. I thought this was strange since I had only taken the knife apart this one time. I went to Ontario's web site and found the contact form. I gave them this information and sent the email off. I thought I would have to wait for a couple of days for a response but when I checked my email a few minutes later (!), I found a note from Diane Stanbro, Sales Coordinator asking for my address so new parts could be sent out. No questions, no comments, just want to get the problem solved. Thank you Diane and kudos to you and your company

It makes all thew difference in the world when a knife company realizes that your hard earned money is going towards their product and if something goes swrong that they will fix it.

I don't care what people say about American Knife Companies. THEY ROCK !!! Ontario, Ka-Bar, BK&T, ESSE & others all have excellent c/service.
