Ontario Knife Co SPEC PLUS Gen II SP-53

I have been resisting temptation and been leaving my black blades black lately. My last 2 beckers (17 & 5) still have their coats on, and the 9 with the blueing looks almost black. But yeah, I agree, ontarios and ka-bars rock! forgot I also got a rat-7 and RAK recently that have been kept as they came. Come to think of it, Ontario and Ka-Bar are the most knives I have right now. Now I'm tempted to try out that 53 with the saber grind!
 
Damn you guys !!! LOL Pulled the trigger today. Ontario SP51 & SP53 are inbound. :D

It may be a while before i can do a review. I have a lot on my plate right now & hunting season is just around the corner. Stay tuned. :D


I simply prefer the sabre grind for a little extra strength & weight for chopping & batoning. I use my Ontario machete if i need speed & a thin blade. I have never broken a Spec Plus mind you, i just naturally go for things that are more HD.
