Tom, I went back and read you post again (damn I'm going to have to quit scanning and start reading) and I can give you my assurance that there is no problem with you selling any blade you currently have in stock. Now, once the IP lawyer tells me how the rest of this works I'll let you know about any future orders. I just know that Ontario has been sent a Cease and Desist Notice and whatever happens after the date of that notice will be up to the lawyers and the courts.

Here is my non-lawyerey opinion....It was not until the last week or so that the whole dispute stuff began...so any existing inventory would have been made under the license and thus, ok.

just my .02 worth.
 
Boats would be the guy that could probably post up something here and let us know how this works potentially works with the disclaimer of course that nothing he posts can be taken as legal advice. From my limited knowledge of all of this I just don't see a problem with anything you guys currently have in stock since there has not been a court order from a judge. But then again I know next to nothing about all of this.

The said part about all of this is we didn't go looking for any trouble. We were rocking right along with RAT Cutlery and everything was going good. Then we get a call that tells us we can't operate our own free, independent business as we see fit. Basically that tells me that I cannot operate under the same rules of Capitalism as other companies.

I agree with you 100%, you and Mike should run your business without interference. I support your Company and products (just wanted to clear that up).

I'm probably wrong but that phone call may be just allot of hot air transfered over a wire (or cell tower as it may be). It doesn't mean a thing until the ink is dry on the paper (if it ever happens), by that time you folks may be under way with the RAT 15.

We'll all have to stay tuned.

I appreciate You and Mike as well. Thanks for all the fantastic Knife designs and the opportunity to sell them.
