I am sure all will go well. Or I hope so at least. It just really puzzles me them wanting to fight the trademark on RC knives..

Are their RAT knives still in production or are the ones in stores just the remaining ones they have made? I have no plans to buy one but was wondering If I did, maybe it would only help the distributor of my choice.

No worries. They're just being petty and childish. They have no legal argument and any they present will never stand up in court. Onward and upward Jeff and RAT. Much appreciated is your dedication to quality products and the best in customer service .

Sorry, I emailed them via their sales address. Nothing perks up ears like the sales manager sensing a sudden drop in sales figures.
Money talks.

There are too many lawsuits, too much greed in life. My money goes where old fashioned good service and good will prevail.

Ontario, good luck!

RC, Hello :)

This is too low. They smiled in your faces at SHOT, knowing all along they were going to stab you in the back.

Ontario...what a bunch of jerks. If this isn't a good enough reason to never but another knife they make, then there is no good reason.

Someone at Ontario doesn't like you much. Let's hope it's someone who will be GONE soon. Keep up the good attitude.

Thank you for bringing this into the open--I hate it when companies are under-handed. I will definitely never buy another one of their knives.

What's going on here looks like a vendetta on OKC's part to me. Those engaged in a vendetta usually aren't acting logically or interested in what their perceived opponent has to say. They don't want to negotiate. They want to "get even".

Gird your loins, RC. My suspicion is that it's going to take more than a gentlemanly e-mail and a few handshakes to make OKC back down.

Like I said, I think the folks at Ontario are generally good people so their course of action doesn't really make sense. Maybe their attorneys have suggested this to them.

I hear you. And I know that you've dealt with the folks at Ontario for a long time. I'm just concerned that you may want things to work out so badly that you're willing to judge the book by its cover.

I've been on the receiving end of this sort of action myself. Even though I could engage in "civilized" discussions with my adversary during the proceedings, it took attorney-to-attorney interactions and more than an occasional dip into my bank account to make it go away.

I'm going to lock this thread since there is no sense in it becoming another 1000-post thread about Ontario. It just hit me strange that they would even think about filing an opposition to our mark and I posted it up. Anyway, no sense in cluttering our forum up with all of this any further. Back to RC Knives and the new stuff going on!
