Ontario Quartermaster

I'm not sure what type of steel is used for this knife (some type of stainless) but its got a leather handle and a bright blade finish. I own a couple Ontario pieces so I understand about the inconsistent quality controls but is this knife worth looking at for a medium all around fixed blade?

Anyone who owns one (or who's handled / evaluated one) would be appreciated...

You could do a lot better with a BK&T BK-10

i like mine and have had no problems with it. whenever i feel the need for a leather sheath and handle there it is.
