Holy Cow, I got mine today and it is as tight and well made as any of my folders. I am very plesently surprised, I'd say Taiwan has some pretty darn good QC supervision.
 
I have a couple. I picked up my newest one this week. Desert Tan w/plain edge black blade.
I brought home a new desk chair last night and I used the knife on the box. The blade took a
major beating. The first time I have ever really used one for such a task but the blade dulled
and it really buffed the coating. Then today when I tried to sharpen it the blade took an edge
okay,but I lost more coating.
A word to the wise.
 
The Rat 1 is probably the best knife out there for under $50, and it's my favorite folder for under $100. Period.
