Recommendation? Ontario RAT 1 vs CRKT M21-04G - which better?

I agree. The Rat is a well made knife for three times the price. The only CRKT knife I ve had, given as a present, was relatively expensive, and wouldn t compare with the Rat.
As an aside, I read somewhere online that the two most popular folders in Russia are the Rat1 and the PM2. Online information so take for what it s worth.

I hate to think what a PM2 sells for in Russia.

And you did well. I own a CRKT M16-14 (pre-LAWSK) and it is a heavy, non-slicey. chisel ground, hunk of steel. I guess the M21 is going to be about the same. I own a RAT-2 and I can assure the bigger RAT-1 is going to be a solid choice.
