Ontario Rat 1?

I've had a lot of boxes around the house that i needed to break down and saw this as the perfect opportunity. I was going to be a bit more gentle on my new baby but as we all know here... knives are tools and tools are meant to be used. I've spent a couple hours cutting cardboard and still have a couple hours worth left. A lot of boxes including a lot of double thick cardboard and A LOT of tape. It has held up well thus far but i'll make a review with pictures and more in-depth details later if anyone is interested. By the end of the night i'll probably have put this baby through a couple months worth of EDC work.

If even a single person tells me they'd be interested in my in-depth review rather than my first impressions, i'll post it up... I'll maybe do it anyway if i get bored.

I just got a Rat 1 today, and out of the box it has slight side-to-side blade play, even though the blade is not loose opening. I'm going to see if adjusting the pivot screw can correct this without making it difficult to open...?

UPDATE: I was able to eliminate just about all of the side-to-side play by adjusting the pivot screw without making the knife difficult to open. I consider this RESOLVED unless something changes...

The Rat 1 is an excellent knife. It is even more excellent for the price. Yes, they stand up to use just fine.
