Ontario Rat-2 Folder announced at Shot Show 2013. Anyone have any more info on this?

I have another one of their colors (gray) and it's a hell of a knife.... I'm still trying to figure out how they're manufacturing these with such a high level of fit-and-finish @ $30 street price. I've had tons of lower end (inexpensive) knives and the RAT-1 stands out as one of the best buys out there.

No problems with the size and weight on the RAT-1....... makes for a very nice EDC knife....... but I know there are places that you can't carry a 4" blade. I'm sure they'll sell these like all-you-can-eat pancakes at IHOP.

Awesome that the edc Rat2 is coming soon! I think it will be the edc folder im looking for. Love my modified Rat1…but it is to large for daily carry.

Will the Rat2 also be available with a fully serrated or combo edge???

From picture I saw the black and satin blade. How about handle colors. Will all the colors the Rat1 comes in will be available when the Rat2 is released?? (Black, Desert Tan, Olive Drab, Coyote Brown, gray, Kermit green….red, pink, purple, orange????

This knife will be a great hit with its Rat1 heritage and with many different coloring/blade options

Here's what Ontario said about colors.

" The stock colors are black handle with a satin blade and a black blade and pink handle with a satin blade. Speciality colors may be available through exclusive distributorships. There will be additional stock colors released at Blade Show."
 
I am looking forward to getting the Tactical Pink RAT2 for my new hard use / abuse EDC... I am hoping that it flicks as well as the RAT1, it has the same AUS8 steel so it should...
 
So March 1st pased. Anybody any news? Any info about combo edges?

I’m looking forward to this Rat-1 minus 20% ;)
 
Chestnut Ridge sent out an email today with links to purchase it. They have 3 different models, all with plain edges. One satin, one black, and one satin with pink scales.

Mine was supposed to be here today, buy USPS didn't get it on the truck out of St. Louis in time. Tomorrow!
