The NS9 is unused. Upon removing it from its sheath recently, I found some gunk on the edge toward the tip. It came right off with a quick scrape of a thumbnail; but there is some residual - shown in a picture. There was also a white mark along the edge on one side that I hadn't noticed previously - shown in another picture. Long discontinued.
The RD7 has been used - probably a half dozen times - and the handle reshaped. Usage limited to camping & fire making tasks - scraping bark, chopping sticks, light batoning of both wet and dry (relatively straight grained) wood, etc. I wiped it down with CLP after its last use which prettied it up a little. Another long discontinued knife
Both knives should be 5160.

I should have thought to vacuum the sheaths before taking the pictures - they've been in storage for quite a while.
