Maybe I am late on this but I am amazed at the Gen 1 SP10. It has been upgraded recently... it has attributes from the SP Gen 2 series such as laser etching which reduces the chance of stress fractures and a better blade coating, the same as the SP gen 2 series.. The SP 10 is still $50 ....WOW....

Does anyone know more about the improvements and when they happened? Any other thoughts? I just want to get the word out there... one of the baddest blades in the game a only $50!

My SP-10 makes my Recon Scout look and feel downright tiny and svelte by comparison. :D The SP-10's blade mics out at .258" thick, while the Scout's measures .315". Other than that, the SP dwarfs the Scout. It really is a beast of a knife.

Best traditionally shaped American Bowie Knife on the market and made in the U.S.A., recently had to let one go, hopefully I get one of the new gen ones in the future, it was an awesome and well balanced monster of a knife.
