Hello all. Due to having to go through an extended VA service-connection process, I am selling off the last of my prized knife collection. Hopefully these fine knives will find a good home. Thanks for looking. PLEASE NOTE: I priced the brand new Mora blades below roughly $10 cheaper shipped than Amazon, so these are a great deal to save money on.
1) (SOLD) Ontario SP50 Survival Knife, 5160 Steel with convexed edge. I am the original owner of this blade. I convexed it using a Work Sharp which is why the coating near the edge looks a little uneven. I have many years of experience convexing knives and axes and although the coating looks less than perfect near the edge, the edge convex is near perfect and is hair shaving sharp. With this edge, it will featherstick with ease and is also tougher than the original edge shape. I did baton the knife a few times through some soft Aspen and Pine while camping, but never abused the blade. The only reason I am selling it is because of my situation. It is an outstanding survival blade which Ontario sadly discontinued, which makes it collectible now. $134.00 shipped OBO. Paypal preferred.
