Ontario Spec Plus BEAST!!!

Hi, just got an Ontario Spec Plus SP14 TANTO 10 today and love it!!! It's a beast. Never seen a fatter blade in my life. Does anyone know what blade steel Ontario uses? Thanks. -AR

Ontario uses 1095 high carbon steel ,very strong.good edge holding too.
the spec.plus models sure are tough and the priced very deacently.
conngrats on your purches jakyl you cant go wrong with them.

The coating is likely epoxy, unless they've changed it.

BTW, I really like my survival bowie SP-5. In my opinion, the price/performance of the Ontarios is fantastic.
